While I don’t want to dwell too heavily on those classmates we’ve lost over the past fifty years, I was reminded that April 4th is Nancy’s birthday. Nancy did a lot in her years on this earth and I wanted those of you who were not local to have a chance to read the very moving piece published in the Canton newspaper after her passing in October 2012. She embodied the spirit of Immaculata, with “ideals true and lofty” and lived that motto in her actions.

Some Shots from our 40th Reunion
Grads from Precious Blood Parish posed together for a group shot at the 40th Reunion party in Garden City. Sadly, we lost Nancy Conat Spencer, our guiding organizer for the reunion, in 2012.
Nancy chose to spend every moment she could, giving selflessly in causes such as the Canton Goodfellows organization and Friends of the Canton Public Library despite an overwhelming number of physical limitations. We all miss her!
Gesu Parish grads came out in full force for our 40th! Let’s hope for an even larger turnout for this coming reunion.
We need your help to make this happen!! Get in touch with us and let us know what you’ve been doing. Share photos for this site!
THIS IS UP TO ALL OF YOU!! PS – If you can’t put names with faces in the photos, then come to the next reunion. We promise to wear name tags!!
50th Anniversary Reunion planning underway

Including room rental, bartender fee, cash bar and buffet luncheon cost. Our fee per person has yet to be decided. The class of ’64 charged $60 per.
Mary Ann will provide Kathy P with an updated spreadsheet of addresses periodically which she will eblast to all our emails addresses. It is hoped that by all using all of our ‘found’ members they can help us with info on the ‘lost sheep’.
Kathy P, our research expert, will send a list of suggestions for good ways to search for our missing classmates to those who have offered to help us find people.
Judy and Janet will handle collecting the money. Sue will talk to her contacts in the Class of ’64 and find out who was the money handler for their reunion. She will put them in contact with Judy.
Paula and Mary will be in charge of the mailing for our ‘Save the Date’ postcard. Mary Ann is able to provide mailing labels. It should go out around mid-April.
Mary Ann is in contact with Virginia Carney who is going to help connect us with Monroe. They may be able to help us with spreading the word through their email newsletter.
Kathy P. and Mary Ann will work on setting up a Web page and a Facebook page for the reunion.
Sue will contact Maureen Krupp Labadie to set up some kind of booklet similar to the one we had at the 40th reunion.
